Email murathanoran1@gmail.com. One person reads it, usually within two business days. Telling me which iPhone you have and what you were doing when it happened makes it much easier to help.

I bought RULE when it was a paid app. Do I have to pay again?

No. You keep the complete game, and there is nothing to restore and nothing to pay. RULE checks two independent things — the original App Store purchase recorded against your Apple Account, and the save file your old install wrote — and either one is enough. If neither is readable for some reason, tap Restore purchase on the Settings screen and it will be sorted out.

I paid, and the game is still locked

Open Settings ▸ Restore purchase. That asks the App Store whether your Apple Account owns the unlock, and it always answers — either it opens the game or it tells you plainly that no purchase was found.

If it says nothing was found and you are sure you paid: check that you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, and that you have a network connection, since the App Store cannot be asked without one. If it still refuses, email me with the date of the purchase and I will look into it.

What is free?

The first three worlds — 60 puzzles, three complete worlds with an ending — the Daily Rule every day, and every hint on every puzzle. There are no adverts and no timers, and nothing is taken away if you never buy anything.

One optional payment, made once, opens the remaining six worlds and their 180 puzzles, the Endless mode, the archive of every rule you have discovered, and the full statistics. There is no subscription and nothing else to buy.

I think a puzzle has more than one right answer

Please tell me — that is the most useful message I can get. Send the world and the puzzle number and, if you can, the reading you had in mind.

Every puzzle is checked against a catalogue of rival rules before it ships: if another rule explains the same examples but points at a different option, the puzzle does not go in. That catalogue is not omniscient, though, and the times it has been extended have each found real mistakes. If you have found one, it gets fixed.

Hints

Every puzzle has one. It tells you where to look, never what to think. Hints are free everywhere, there is no limit, and taking one does not lock anything, cost anything or count against you.

Resetting progress

Settings ▸ Reset progress. It asks first, because it cannot be undone: your progress lives only on your device and there is no copy anywhere else. Your sound, haptics and reveal preferences are kept, and so is your purchase — that is held by Apple, not by the app.

Does RULE work offline?

Yes. Every puzzle ships inside the app, and the Daily Rule and the endless run are generated on your own device. The only time RULE uses a network at all is the one purchase, or restoring it.

Accessibility

Every puzzle describes itself to VoiceOver, and no two answers in a puzzle are allowed to read the same way. Nothing you have to reason about is carried by colour. Dynamic Type is supported to the largest accessibility sizes, and Reduce Motion is respected. If something is unusable for you, please write — that is a bug, and it is treated as one.

Privacy

RULE has no account, no analytics and no server. The full policy is at RULE — Privacy Policy.
