What's the difference between a milestone and a chapter?
A milestone is a single day that changed something — graduating, moving, a birth. A chapter is a period of your life, like "University years" or "Living in Berlin". Chapters frame your timeline and color your Life in Years view.
How do I see my age on the timeline?
Open My Life or Settings and add your birthday. It stays on your iPhone and is used only to show your age.
How do I add a widget?
Widgets are part of the one-time unlock. Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Milestones. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it and tap Customize.
I bought the unlock on another iPhone.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account.
How do I move my milestones to a new iPhone?
Your archive is part of your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup. You can also use Settings › Export Backup and later Import Backup on the new iPhone. Merging never deletes anything.
My anniversary reminders don't arrive.
Turn on Anniversary Reminders in the app's Settings, then check Settings › Notifications › Milestones on your iPhone and make sure notifications are allowed.
Does Milestones upload my data?
No. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no ads. Everything stays on your iPhone.
