Email murathanoran1@gmail.com. One person reads it, and you will normally get a reply within two business days.
If you are reporting a problem, it helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened.
My reminder never arrived
Reminders arrive at 9:00 in your local time on the day itself. With Premium you can also get a heads-up 1, 3, 7 or 14 days before, choose the time, and turn on a Monday summary of the week ahead.
Open Settings › Reminder check in the app. It shows whether notifications are allowed, what is scheduled next, and can send you a test reminder in five seconds. If notifications are off, it takes you to the right place in iPhone Settings (Settings › Notifications › Birthdays). If notifications were declined once, iOS will not ask again — they have to be turned back on there. If you use a Focus, allow Birthdays in it.
Reminders repeat every year on their own. Opening the app now and then keeps heads-up dates and gift notes in them up to date.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, and search for Birthdays. There are small, medium and large Home Screen widgets and three Lock Screen widgets. On the day, the small widget has a Mark wished button, and tapping a widget opens that person. Touch and hold a placed widget and choose Edit Widget to show only one circle (Family, Friends, Work) — that option, and the One Birthday widget that counts down to a single person, come with Premium.
I paid but the features are locked
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you used to buy. Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it works on every device signed in to that account, including with Family Sharing.
If restoring does not work, email me with the date of purchase and I will help.
What does the free version include?
Up to five people — birthdays, anniversaries or remembrance days — with a reminder on the day, Reminder check, every list widget, ages, milestones and the almanac, warm and short wishes, the Classic card, search, backup and export, and Siri.
The one-time Premium unlock adds everyone you care about, heads-up reminders at the time you choose and the Monday summary, the gift planner with prices and gift history, all five wish tones and saved wishes, all six card designs, circles, widget filters and pins, themes, app icons, celebration styles and the One Birthday widget.
Where is my data? Can I move it to a new iPhone?
On your iPhone, and nowhere else. There is no account and no server, so the developer cannot see or recover your data.
To move to a new iPhone, open Settings › Back up now in the app and save the file somewhere you can reach from the new phone (Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop or email). On the new iPhone, open the app and choose Restore or import a file. Restoring adds people and never removes anyone. A device backup or Quick Start transfer from your old iPhone also carries the app's data over.
You can also import a CSV file from another app, as long as it has a name column and either a birthday/date column or day and month columns.
Can I see birthdays in my Calendar?
Yes. In Settings › Export › Calendar (.ics), share the file to the Calendar app. Each birthday becomes a yearly all-day event. The app does not need access to your calendar for this.
Anniversaries and remembrance days
Tap + and choose Add anniversary to count a couple's years together, or Add someone to remember for the birthday of someone who has died. A remembrance day gets a quiet reminder — no confetti and no wish prompts. Anniversaries saved on a contact are offered when you import from Contacts.
Saving a birthday card
Open a person and tap Card, pick a design and tap Share. If you choose Save Image, iOS asks once for permission to add photos — the app can only add the card, never see your library.
Someone was born on February 29
In years without a February 29, the app counts their birthday on February 28 — in the list, the widgets and the reminders.
How do I delete everything?
Swipe a person to the left to delete them, or open them and tap Edit › Delete. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Requesting a feature
Send it to the address above. The app is deliberately focused and not everything gets added, but every message is read.
