What is free, and what is Worth It Unlimited?
Free, always: up to five decisions; reminders; looking back (early, on time, or on a decision that already happened); editing anything you wrote; seeing your past lessons when you record a similar decision; the Hindsight headline; your lessons list; and exporting everything as JSON or CSV.
Worth It Unlimited is a single, optional one-time purchase. It adds unlimited decisions, the full Hindsight report (how often your confidence is right, which kinds of decisions pay off for you, your surprises and letdowns), "still worth it?" revisits after six months or a year, and the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. There is no subscription.
I bought the unlock in an earlier version. Do I pay again?
No. Worth It Unlimited uses the same purchase as the earlier "Lifetime Unlock", so it unlocks automatically. If it doesn't, open Settings ▸ Restore Purchase.
I bought Unlimited and things are still locked
Open Settings ▸ Restore Purchase. It asks the App Store whether your Apple Account owns Worth It Unlimited and tells you plainly either way. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with and that you are online. If a parent needs to approve the purchase (Ask to Buy), Worth It unlocks by itself once it's approved.
I already had more than five decisions
Nothing you wrote is ever locked. You can keep reading, editing and looking back on every decision. Only adding a new one needs Worth It Unlimited.
Where did my archived decisions go?
Tap the archive button at the top left of the Decisions list, or open Settings ▸ Archive. From there you can unarchive or delete them. Archived decisions still count in Hindsight.
Reminders arrive at the wrong time, or not at all
Reminders arrive on the day you chose, at the time set in Settings ▸ Remind me at (9:00 by default). If none arrive, make sure Reminders is on in Worth It's Settings and that notifications for Worth It are allowed in the iPhone's Settings ▸ Notifications. Even without a reminder, the decision moves to "Ready to look back" on its day.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit ▸ Add Widget, search for Worth It, and choose "A Lesson From Past You" or "Next Look Back". For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen and add Worth It in the widget area.
Why does Hindsight say it needs more look backs?
Patterns from one or two decisions would be guesses. Worth It waits for at least three verdicts, and shows how sure you were only for decisions you rated when you recorded them (decisions logged afterwards aren't rated, because hindsight would bias the answer).
