Introduction
PASS is a minimalist timing puzzle. You watch moving obstacles, predict the moment a path through them will open, and commit with a single tap. It contains 150 hand-made levels, a Daily Read puzzle that is new every day, and an Endless mode. Every level and every Daily Read is checked by the game itself to have a safe moment a human hand can hit.
The first 45 levels and the Daily Read are free. A single one-time purchase opens the remaining levels and Endless mode. Players who had PASS 2.0 keep the 50 free levels they had.
PASS has no accounts, tracking, analytics or advertising, and the developer stores nothing about you. Apart from that purchase, which the App Store handles, and Game Center, which is optional and off unless you turn it on, PASS works entirely offline.
Information We Do Not Collect
This app does not collect personal information from users. Specifically, the developer does not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or physical address
- Contact list or address book data
- Photos or media from your device
- Precise or approximate location data
- Financial account information or payment card information
- Advertising identifiers or device identifiers used for tracking
- Analytics or behavioral data
- Game scores, results or play history
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
PASS stores the following data on your device:
- Which levels you have passed, and which of them you passed perfectly
- How many attempts each level took the first time through
- Your Daily Read results: for each day, how many attempts it took and whether the pass was perfect
- Your best Endless score and longest Perfect streak
- Whether the one-time purchase has been made
- Your settings: sound, haptics, appearance, Read Line hints and Game Center
All of this is written to a single file inside the app's own storage area. The Daily Read puzzle is built on your device from the date; nothing is downloaded. None of this data is sent to the developer or to any server.
App Permissions
PASS does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts. It sends no notifications.
Sharing a Result
After a Daily Read you can tap Share. PASS then draws a picture of your result on your device and opens the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose where it goes, and PASS does not see or keep what you share.
Game Center (Optional, Off by Default)
Settings has a Game Center switch, which is off until you turn it on. While it is off, PASS does not sign in to Game Center and sends nothing to it.
If you turn it on, your longest Daily Read streak and your best Endless score are posted to Apple's Game Center leaderboards, under your Game Center identity. Apple runs this service under its own Game Center privacy terms. The developer receives no personal information from Game Center, and PASS does not store anything Game Center returns. You can turn the switch off at any time; PASS then stops posting immediately. To sign out of Game Center itself, use your device's Settings.
Third-Party Services
This app does not integrate third-party analytics services, advertising networks or tracking SDKs. All gameplay runs entirely on your device. The Privacy Policy and Support links in the app's Settings hand the address to your browser, which makes the request; the app does not.
The app uses the network only for Apple's own services. It uses the App Store so the one-time purchase can be offered, completed and restored, and, only if you turn it on, Game Center as described above. Those exchanges are between your device and Apple. The developer receives no payment details and no personal information from them, only Apple's aggregate sales reporting, which does not identify individual customers.
Purchases
PASS offers one non-consumable in-app purchase. It unlocks the full game permanently for the Apple Account that bought it. There is no subscription, no in-game currency and nothing else to buy. Apple processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; the developer never sees or stores your payment information. The app records only a single local flag meaning “unlocked”. If you bought PASS when it was a paid app, the full game stays yours at no further cost. “Restore Purchase” in Settings recovers it on a new device.
Data Sharing
The developer does not sell, trade, rent or share user data with third parties. There is no developer-side database. Your information stays on your device.
Data Deletion
You can delete your Journey, Daily Read and Endless progress at any time with Reset Progress in the app's Settings, or delete everything by deleting the app from your device. Scores already posted to Game Center are held by Apple and are managed through your Game Center account.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children, or from any user, because it does not collect personal information at all. Game Center is off by default, and its use by children is governed by Apple's own Game Center and Screen Time settings.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the app's features change in a way that affects how information is handled. When it is updated, the revised policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
